The Fellowship
Five weeks to identify, practice, and transform what your money is building.
A small cohort, a dedicated mentor, and one stewardship practice you can stand behind. A program of Shepherds of Capital Foundation.
New cohorts open each quarter
Who It Is For
For anyone responsible for money, whether their own or entrusted to them.
The Fellowship is for people ready to move from conversation to action, at home, at work, and in community.
At home
In how we run our households and our family finances.
At work
In the work entrusted to us, whatever our role.
In community
In how we shop, give, and serve where we live.
Inside the Fellowship
From recognition to responsibility.
Week 1
Reveal
Take stock of your money and what you carry.
Week 2
Experience
Reflect on where your decisions and values meet.
Week 3
Responsibility
Follow one real decision to its consequence.
Week 4
Commitment
Name one stewardship practice with your mentor.
Week 5
Impact
Share it with the cohort and carry it forward.
From Responsibility to Action
What a stewardship practice might look like.
At home
Look inside your retirement account.
Learn which companies it owns and whether they reflect what you value.
Read a month of spending.
Read it as a statement of what you value, then change one choice.
At work
Steward one budget as your own.
Manage it as if every dollar were yours to answer for.
Ask what it will build.
Make it the first question before your team approves any spending.
In community
Spend closer to home.
Move part of your monthly spending to local businesses.
Bring the question to your board.
Ask what its reserves are building, and whether that serves the mission.
Examples only. Each Fellow chooses a practice that fits their own life.

The Shepherds of Capital Fellowship is a free five week program. You join a small cohort and work with a dedicated mentor to see what your money is building and commit to one real change. We close with a ninety day impact interview to make sure the change lasts.
Who is the Fellowship for?
The Fellowship is for anyone responsible for money, whether their own or entrusted to them. It is not about how much you hold. It is about how you direct it.
Does it cost anything to join the Fellowship?
No. Every seat in the Shepherds of Capital Fellowship is made possible by a sponsor, so no one has to pay their way in.
What happens during the five weeks?
The Fellowship moves through five weeks. Reveal, Experience, Responsibility, Commitment, and Impact. It opens with a live session, includes guided reflection and time with your mentor, and closes with the cohort sharing their practices. Cohorts are small, seven to fifteen Fellows.
When do Fellowship cohorts begin?
The first cohort launches in fall 2026, and new cohorts open each quarter. Express your interest to hold a place.
Is the Fellowship investment advice?
No. The Fellowship is an educational program of Shepherds of Capital Foundation. It does not provide investment advice, financial planning, or securities services. Each stewardship practice is a personal reflection exercise that Fellows choose for themselves.
How can I nominate a Fellow or become a mentor?
Contact our team. Shepherds of Capital Foundation welcomes nominations, mentors, and sponsors who want to help carry the work forward.
