What is Shepherds of Capital Foundation?
Shepherds of Capital Foundation is a Florida nonprofit and 501(c)(3) public charity. Its mission is to help people make money decisions they can stand behind at home, at work, and in their communities, through the Fellowship, Founders Gatherings, and writings and talks.
What is the Shepherds of Capital Fellowship?
The Shepherds of Capital Fellowship is a free five week program. You join a small cohort and work with a dedicated mentor to see what your money is building and commit to one real change. We close with a ninety day impact interview to make sure the change lasts.
Who is the Fellowship for?
The Fellowship is for anyone directing money, your own or someone else's. It is not about how much you hold. It is about how you direct it.
What happens at a Founders Gathering?
A Founders Gathering is an evening hosted by Shepherds of Capital Foundation, where leaders from business, finance, education, and civic life sit at one table and talk openly about one question. What is our money building? Upcoming Gatherings are planned for Scottsdale, Arizona in January 2027 and Washington, D.C. in April 2027.
Is Shepherds of Capital Foundation a 501(c)(3) public charity?
Yes. Shepherds of Capital Foundation, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 41-4286777.
Are donations to Shepherds of Capital Foundation tax deductible?
Yes. Contributions to Shepherds of Capital Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please speak with your tax advisor about your own situation.
Does Shepherds of Capital Foundation provide investment advice?
No. The programs of Shepherds of Capital Foundation are educational and charitable. The Foundation does not provide investment advice, financial planning, or securities services, and it is legally separate from any for profit Shepherds of Capital entity.
How can I get involved with Shepherds of Capital Foundation?
You can join the Fellowship, attend or host a Founders Gathering, mentor or nominate a Fellow, invite the Foundation to speak to your company, organization, or board, or become a Founding Steward. Every way to begin is on the Get Involved page.
